Privacy Policy

DEM Audio, operated by Arnaud Demion in Valais, Switzerland, is responsible for the data described here, in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We collect as little as possible and never sell it.

Website

  • No cookies, no analytics, no advertising trackers. The site does not use any tracking tool.
  • Contact form. When you write to us, we receive your name, email address, optional phone number and message by email. We use them only to reply and keep them no longer than needed for that conversation. To fight spam, the form counts submissions per IP address for one hour, and rejected spam is logged (date, IP address, start of the message).
  • Hosting. The site is hosted by OVHcloud in the European Union, a destination recognised by Switzerland as offering adequate data protection. Like any web server, it keeps technical access logs (IP address, date, page requested) for security, for a limited time.
  • Checkout. The “Buy a license” button opens the Lemon Squeezy checkout. The data you enter there is collected by Lemon Squeezy, not by us (see below).

Purchases

Purchases are handled by Lemon Squeezy, acting as Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy processes your payment details; we never see them. We receive your name, email address, country and order details, which we use to deliver and support your license and to meet our accounting obligations. Lemon Squeezy’s privacy policy applies to the data it processes.

The LinFIR software

  • License activation. When you activate or validate a license, the Software sends your license key, your email address and a machine identifier to the Lemon Squeezy licensing server. This is only used to manage your activations.
  • Bug reports. If you choose to send a bug report (Help → Report a Bug), it contains your description, the application log and basic system information. It does not include your projects or measurements.
  • Nothing else. The Software does not collect usage statistics and does not transmit your projects, measurements or filters.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data at any time by writing to contact@demaudio.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, if you live in the EU, with your local data protection authority.
